Besides a shotgun with steel shot ammo, your hunting license, Federal duck stamp, and a good retrieving dog, I can’t think of anything.
Camouflage clothing and hat are useful. Desert camo may be better suited for you since you live in Texas
Are you new to the sport or not. If so waterfowl hunting tends to be the most expensive hunting type in overall supplies needed. A small list of items; shotgun, steel shot shells, all the licenses, duck calls, decoys, a blind, and a pair of neoprene waders like you mentioned. If you tend to hunt with a group like I do the expenses of the equipment of like the blind and decoys can be divided among you and your group. A good heavy jacket is a must also as temps where I hunt can be in the teens. There are alot of deciding factors on whether you will need a retrieving dog or a boat depending on where you are hunting at. Waterfowl tend to offer hard shots that only practice will make perfect. Learning how to use the calls and set up the decoys also come from trial and error. Overall when you get in the grove of it, waterfowl hunting tends to be the most exciting type of hunting at least in my book.
Good luck and have fun.
