Looking for inexpensive place to stay while bow hunting northern New Jersey this January.?

Thinking about hunting around the water gap area this month. I missed the entire regular season due to having bronchitis since the first of October. So, I thought I would give a late season hunt a try. I tried to find cabin rentals in the area but they all seem to be closed in January. Does any one have any suggestions? I also heard that military members get a break on license costs in NJ. Is that true?
