How is good is Missouri for deer hunting?

I’m considering a hunting trip out in Missouri. Are there big bucks in Missouri? How does it rank with other states like Iowa, Kansas, and Texas? What part of the state is the best?

Missouri is very good, especially eastern and northeastern Missouri. The bucks are just as big as the ones in Kansas and Iowa and bigger than Texas. If you are rifle hunting, it is a little easier than Kansas because you get to hunt during the rut in Missouri whereas the rifle season in Kansas is after the rut.
