How do you prepare for a hunting trip?

I am going hunting later this year with a few friends, this is the first trip for me just looking for advise. Trip will be 3 days long not far from home.

    First of all, I hope you have your hunting permit. If you have it, they should have went over it in class. Look in your book. You should ask the friends you are going with. Make sure they are dependable. Don’t wear jeans. And make sure you know the hunting regulations! Don’t rely on your friends to know it for you. Happy hunting.

    Bring your license, rifle, ammo, binoculars, knife, game bags, warm and cold weather gear it can change quickly, clothes, spare boots, food, water and probably beer ;)

    If it’s critical bring a spare eg. knife, boots, binoculars.

    Break in your gear before the hunt.
