I live in Louisiana and my friends have been trying to get me to go hunt and I have never been hunting but I want to start bowhunting. I was wondering if you have to be a certain age to buy a hunting bow. Thanks and I would appreciate no one dogging me for being new to hunting.

18 is all. you can use it any age under adult supervision
No minimum age that I can find. Call your local Dept of Natural Resources office and ask them while you are inquiring about a hunter’s safety course, which IS required before you can get your hunting license.
