since bow hunting based on KE and not speed …. im shooting about 90 KE , my bow is drawed at 65-70, the arrows i use are easton carbon storm (400) with 100gr tips … would it be a good idea to up the weight of the arrow in order to get more KE, plus whats the difference between vanes and blazers
so should i make my arrow it self heavier or just the tip/broadheads
i am only 15 years old, but i love to hunt. and i have considered hunting as my profession, but i have no idea on how to do it. all i hunt now is whitetail(and small game like squirrel, groundhog, and fox). but i am good at it, especially bow hunting. i have already got 2 bucks hanging on our living room wall. so i just want some info, or guidance on becoming a professional hunter.
I know the .308 caliber is known for it’s great accuracy but is it potent enought to take elk down at 300 to 350 yards? I hunt deer mostly and will start to hunt Elk next season and make it a yearly thing so I want to know if I need to get something bigger or can I stay with my .308?

ugh, so annoying I used to be very good, I used to bow hunt, then my dad and I grew apart and we stopped shooting together, I haven’t shot in close to 5 years and lately I’ve just wanted to take my bow out, So my little brother and I went out today and to my surprise I really suck, really bad, it’s depressing considering I used to be good, So I need some tips to get back in practice.
I am looking for an entry level bow to hunt white tail with come the fall. I was wondering which of these would be a better bow?
